The Words I Don't Keep

The words I don’t keep

That I set free on paper

Are my gift to share

If they are too easy,

Too plain, too transparent,

Pass by

If they are too obscure,

Too hard, too much,

Seek them only if you choose

If my words sing to you,

If they solve a mystery,

If they make you wonder

Know I am grateful

Know that I am honored

The words that I set free

Are my gift

Accept them as you please
